Prior to becoming a lawyer, Jennifer had varied experience in the legal industry spanning 14 years, including as a precedent coordinator designing databases, coding documents, and designing and coding user interfaces.
Jennifer has a zeal for the cutting edge areas of intellectual property and technology law, and the constant challenges it presents whenever an emerging technology or an innovative way of creating new work arises. Prior to joining SLF Lawyers, Jennifer was a lawyer for a specialist IT law practice, advising start-ups and SMEs offering IT-related services across a variety of industries on the commercialisation and exploitation of technology and IP, the protection of IP, and related areas such as confidentiality, privacy, and data protection.
Jennifer’s experience also includes advising start ups and SMEs on commercial law issues, such as employment law, commercial leasing, and general business structuring.
Jennifer enjoys studying languages, and has studied Spanish, French, Italian, and German at university, and has also recently taken up learning Welsh, Russian, and Japanese. Jennifer also enjoys travelling and has visited 19 countries so far, but hopes to visit many more!
