Jackie has been employed with SLF Lawyers since 2015. Jackie has in excess of 8 years’ experience in secured and unsecured debt recovery, and has been working in the legal profession for 12 years after originally coming from a property law and conveyancing background. She demonstrates a depth of knowledge and experience at a high standard, and, more importantly, an ability to pass the benefit of these attributes onto her clients. Jackie has worked for variety of clients, from insurance clients, to statutory bodies and trade direct clients as well as private clients.
Jackie is the primary point of contact at SLF for a number of our large scale clients. Jackie’s clients hold great respect and confidence in her ability to ensure the best results for them in a timely and cost effective manner. She is praised for her clear communication and reporting. Jackie’s strong negotiation and conflict management abilities has allowed many of Jackie’s clients to benefit from avoiding legal action (and its costs) and settling with their debtors.
If legal action has become necessarily, Jackie has extensive experience in all Australian jurisdictions to autonomously run uncontested debt recovery matters, from commencing proceedings, applying for default judgment and enforcing judgments. Jackie regularly performs steps in the creditor’s petition and winding up processes—from the issuing of the initial bankruptcy notice or statutory demand, and all steps up until the point of an appearance. Jackie has also often been involved with negotiating terms that has allowed these matters to settle.
